Govt will fix elections date once constitution amended: PM Dahal

KATHMANDU, Oct 26: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said  that the government is doing homework toward implementing the constitution through the elections.

KATHMANDU, Oct 26: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said  that the government is doing homework toward implementing the constitution through the elections.


In a meeting with the representatives of the CPN (Maoist Center) Parbat District Chapter today, Dahal said that the Local Bodies Reconstruction Committee (LBRC) with submit its report soon and the government is at the final stage of constitution amendment process.

“We have narrowed down the differences among the political parties on the issues of constitution. The government will fix the date once the constitution is amended. The government is fully committed toward implementation of the constitution," said Dahal. 


Dahal further said that the tripartite relation between Nepal, Indian and China has taken a new height during the government under his leadership.


Meanwhile, he expressed wrath saying that some of the leaders are not happy with his leadership because of the achievements made by the government in a short span of time during his leadership.
