KATHMANDU, July 30: The government will provide free of cost treatment to acid attack survivors. The Ministry of Health and Population issued a notice stating that people who are attacked with acid can get free emergency treatment services from any health institutions in the country.
After emergency treatment, free treatment will be provided at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj, Bir Hospital in Kathmandu, Patan Hospital in Lalitpur and Kirtipur Hospital.
According to the MoHP, the victims will be treated according to the Procedures for Treatment of Acid-attack Victims 2078 BS.
