Govt to ensure houses for all: Minister Rai

KAILALI, Sept23: Minister for Urban Development, Mohammad Istiyak Rai, has said the houses for all would be ensured by the government soon. 


Inaugurating the Tikapur Assembly Hall at Tikapur on Sunday, Minister Rai said that the government would make arrangement of settlement along with houses (those who don’t have own houses) after collecting the details through local levels as the federal government has already passed the bill related to resident to all.

He further said that responsibility of town development committee would be given to the local-levels until formulation of Urban Development Act. 


Similarly, Mayor of Tikapur Municipality Tapendra Bahadur Rawal, said that it would be easy to run different types of programmes in the Assembly Hall. 


The Assembly Hall was constructed at a cost of Rs 51.4 million of Department of Urban Development and Building Construction Division Office, Kailali. 


The Hall has the capacity to accumulate 450 people. RSS
