Minister Shrestha had then written a letter to Minister for Health and Population Birodh Khatiwada requesting him to make necessary arrangements for the vaccines for migrant workers.

Minister Shrestha had requested the Health Ministry to administer 500,000 doses of vaccine to the Nepali people going for foreign employment as only those who have been vaccinated against Johnson & Johnson Company are eligible to travel abroad. The Ministry of Health and Population has stated that vaccines will be easily provided to people leaving the country for foreign employment.
