Govt preparing to table constitution amendment bill tomorrow

KATHMANDU, Jan 7: The government is preparing to table the constitution amendment bill at the parliament meeting scheduled for Sunday.

KATHMANDU, Jan 7: The government is preparing to table the constitution amendment bill at the parliament meeting scheduled for Sunday. 



Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Nepali Congress (NC) Sher Bahadur Deuba and leaders of United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) held informal talks on the issue on Saturday.



Chairman of Rastriya Madhes Samjwadi Party Sharad Singh Bhandari held telephone conversations with PM Dahal and Deuba.  



According to General Secretary of Rastriya Madhes Samjwadi Party, Keshav Jha, the Prime Minister and the NC President told Bhandari that the bill will be tabled tomorrow.



Senior Vice-chairman of Tarai Madhes Democratic Party, Hridayesh Tripathi also discussed the issue with PM Dahal and Deuba.
