KATHMANDU, May 30: The government has now arranged to pay taxes in four months.
Presenting the budget for the fiscal year 2023/24 at the joint meeting of the Federal Parliament on Monday, Finance Minister Prakasharan Mahat said that taxpayers will now have to pay taxes in four months.
Earlier, taxpayers registered with VAT had to submit their tax returns every month. Similarly, he has said that taxpayers with annual turnover of more than Rs 250 million will be included in the Central Billing Monitoring System (CBMS).
