Directing government officials in Chitwan district at Bharatpur this morning to make the services swift and effective, Home Minister directed all officials to carry out works in view of upcoming election.[break]
Stating that the country is passing through difficulties, he said the government has been taking initiatives to ensure the participation of all the agitating parties in the election by holding talks with them.
Saying there was no alternative to election for establishing sustainable peace in the country as election is a democratic process, the Home Minister said that he was confident that the agitating parties would also participate in the election.
Saying that criminal activities could increase under political protection in the transitional period, Minister Ghimire directed the security bodies to be alert towards it.
He said the country has headed towards election and directed not to allow staffs on long leave and to stop cases of violence against women.
