KATHMANDU, Aug 20: The Government of Nepal is currently holding discussions to remove the ban on the social network site TikTok in the country.
According to sources at the Prime Minister's Secretariat, the government is involved in discussions to remove the ban on TikTok.

The secretariat source said, “There is still anarchy in TikTok. However, people are raising voices for the lifting of the ban on TikTok. Discussions are ongoing about how to regulate TikTok after the ban is lifted."
The government led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal had decided to ban TikTok on November 12, 2023.
