KATHMANDU, Sept 20: The government has extended the term for the committee formed to search for land and movable assets within Kathmandu Valley registered in the name of Tribhuvan University (TU).

Minister for Communication and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung said that the meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Wednesday decided to extend the term of the committee by two months.
According to Minister Gurung, former under secretary Mahendra Kumar Thapa has been appointed as the coordinator of the committee. “Formerly the committee was coordinated by erstwhile secretary Sharada Prasad Trital,” he said, “Thapa has been appointed as the new coordinator because Trital is sick.”
