KATHMANDU, June 4: The government has endorsed Kathmandu-Tarai Fast Track Road Project Operation Working Procedure to give more authority to the Nepal Army (NA) to speed up the construction of the 76.2-kilometer expressway.
A cabinet meeting held at Singha Durbar on Sunday endorsed the working procedure.
In May, 2017, the government had decided to award the fast-track project to the security agency instead of any foreign company. Of late, the security agency is preparing the detailed project report of the road project on its own.
