KATHMANDU, July 16: The government has appointed Lila Devi Gadtaula as the acting Chief Secretary.


This decision was made during the inaugural meeting of the Council of Ministers under the KP Sharma Oli-led government, held on Monday at the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers Office in Singha Durbar.

The meeting also appointed Minister of Communication and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung as the government spokesperson.


Minister Gurung told media persons that the meeting decided to release the funds for the second and third installments to families affected by the earthquake in Jajarkot.
