KATHMANDU, August 13: The government has announced to administer J&J vaccines to those Nepali people travelling to South Korea for employment.
Those travelling to South Korea for employment or any other purpose can visit vaccination centers and get a shot of J&J vaccine, according to the Minister of Health and Population (MoHP). “These people can visit Nepal Police Hospital and Army Hospital, for the vaccination.”
Passport and visa documents will be required to receive the vaccine.
Likewise, Nepal is soon to receive 10.2 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines by mid-October, according to the Minister of State for the Health and Population, Umesh Shrestha. “The government has also begun processes to procure COVID-19 vaccines for children and will be inoculating them with the vaccines soon,” he added.
