Govt administering China’s COVID-19 vaccine from today

KATHMANDU, April 7: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) is administering the COVID-19 vaccines received in grant from the Chinese government to the general public from Wednesday.

KATHMANDU, April 7: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) is administering the COVID-19 vaccines received in grant from the Chinese government to the general public from Wednesday.


Earlier, Nepal received a grant of 800,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines from China.

The government has decided to inoculate students going to China for studies, Nepali traders involved in trade between China and Nepal, those providing emergency services, hoteliers, pharmacists, lecturers and vegetable and fruits traders in this phase of the COVID-19 vaccination drive.


The vaccine will be inoculated at Bir Hospital; Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj; Birendra Hospital, Chhauni; Sahid Gangalal National Heart Center, Bansbari; Paropakar Maternity and Women’s Hospital, Thapathali; Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital, Teku; Nepal APF Hospital, Civil Service Hospital, Nepal Police Hospital, Om Hospital, National Ayurveda Research Center, Nepal Medical College, Kathmandu Medical College, Sinamangal and Chhetrapati Free Clinic.
