Shrestha said that the government should focus on fully electric vehicles to stop the money being diverted from the country to diesel and petrol. He expressed his belief that if billions of rupees going abroad from Nepal can be stopped, the economy will relatively improve.
Similarly, he said that it is necessary for the government to emphasize the use of electric materials and replace diesel and petrol-powered materials. According to him, there must be a rule for operating electric vehicles throughout the country.
