KATHMANDU, July13: Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (NWPP)'s chairman Narayan Maan Bijukchhe has said that the government change in Nepal is taking place at India's behest.

Speaking at an interaction program organized by Rafat Sanchar Club, Bijukchhe claimed that Nepali Congress President Deuba and Maoist Centre's Chairman Dahal are in the government changing game as per directions from India.

"The main reason behind the government change is India's desire rather than the nation's need" Bijukchhe added.

Bijukchhe claimed that India used Deuba and Dahal as pawns to pull down the government in Nepal assuming that if the Chinese President visits Nepal then it could benefit Nepal and Nepalis.

He also claimed that the government change is to shadow the agreements signed by Prime Minister KP Oli with China during his visit. If the agreements aren’t executed then it will be a big loss to Nepalis, added Bijukchhe.

He also stated that the plan to change the government was designed after the talks held between Nepali Congress and Maoist Centre at Speaker Onsari Gharti's residence.

He said Madhesh based parties are just like pawns in a game of chess.

He said that the role of the President would be crucial now, adding that she should consult her legal advisors.
