After the success of ‘Ghampani’, director Dipendra Lama is set to direct another movie entitled ‘Gopi’. The announcement was made at an event organized in Anupam Foodland, Battisputali, on Wednesday.
The plot of the ‘Gopi’ is about a youth named Gopi who narrates the story of hardship and struggle while pursuing his dream. According to the movie team, the theme of movie is to motivate the youth to work in their own country.

“We aim to entertain as well as inspire, rekindle hope and energize the youth to work like Gopi in Nepal despite the difficult environment here,” said Lama.
The movie is being made under the banner of Aarohi Entertainment, starring Khagendra Lamichhane, Surakshya Panta, Ankeet Khadka, Prakash Ghimire among others. Samipya Raj Timalsena has written the script of movie, which is produced by Aarohi KC. Shailendra D Karki is the cinematographer and Nimesh Shrestha is the editor.
Shooting of the movie will commence from August 17, and will take place in the Kathmandu Valley and Tarai.
