KATHMANDU, Jan 16: The prices of gold and silver have recorded a modest increase in the local market.
According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), one tola of gold is priced at Rs 277,200 today, while silver stands at Rs 5,645 per tola. On Thursday, gold was Rs 276,500 per tola, and silver was Rs 5,485 per tola.

Internationally, one ounce of gold is trading at USD 4,615, and silver at USD 92, according to global reports.
