KATHMANDU, Feb 23: The price of gold has gone up by Rs 1,100 per tola (11.66 grams) in the domestic market today.
The price of the yellow metal remained stagnant this week until it saw an increase of over Rs 1,000 per tola in the market on Tuesday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 90,100 per tola today. It was Rs 89,900 per tola on Monday.
Similarly, the price of standard gold has been set at Rs 89,650 per tola today which was Rs 88,550 yesterday. The price of silver has also seen a slight increase. Silver has been priced at Rs 1,360 per tola today - an increase of Rs 25 per tola in a single day.
