Gold price sees slight increase in Nepal

KATHMANDU, Dec 23: The price of gold increased by Rs 700 per tola to Rs 93,300 on Thursday. The yellow metal was traded at Rs 92,600 per tola in the domestic market on Wednesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of standard gold today is Rs 92,800 per tola. It was Rs 92,100 per tola yesterday.

Similarly, the price of silver today increased by Rs 15 per tola to Rs 1,260, the federation said. Silver was traded at Rs 1,245 per tola on Wednesday.

Likewise, gold is trading at around USD 1,803 per ounce in international markets today.

The federation has been fixing the price of gold and silver in Nepal in line with the transaction price of the international market.
