KATHMANDU, Sept 15:  The price of gold has reached an all-time high in the domestic market. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold has increased by Rs 500 per tola, reaching Rs 156,800 per tola. This is the highest price of gold recorded so far.

Earlier, on September 13, the price of gold was set at its highest ever. On that day, the price of fine gold was traded at Rs 156,300 per tola, making an increase of Rs 3,000 per tola.


Meanwhile the price of silver has also increased today. The price of silver has increased by Rs 40 per tola  and is being traded at Rs 1,900 per tola.
