KATHMANDU, Sept 11: The price of gold has reached an all-time high in the domestic market. After increasing by Rs 200 per tola the previous day, the price of gold has continued to rise today.


According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold has increased by Rs 1,000 per tola today, reaching Rs 153,400 per tola. This is the highest price of the precious yellow metal recorded so far.

Previously, on September 6, the price of gold had reached its highest level. On that day, the price of fine gold increased by Rs 1,300 per tola, reaching Rs 153,300 per tola.The day before, the price of fine gold was Rs 152,400 per tola. 


Similarly, the price of silver has decreased today. According to FENEGOSIDA, silver is trading at Rs 1,780 per tola, following a drop of Rs 15 per tola.
