Gold price hits all-time high, rises by Rs 3,000 per tola

KATHMANDU, Sept 13: The price of gold has reached an all-time high in the domestic market on Friday.

KATHMANDU, Sept 13: The price of gold has reached an all-time high in the domestic market on Friday.


According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold has increased by Rs 3,000 per tola today, reaching Rs 156,300 per tola. This is the highest price of gold recorded so far. On Thursday, the price of fine gold was traded at Rs 153,300 per tola.

Earlier, on September 11, the price of gold was set at its highest ever. On that day, the price of fine gold was traded at Rs 153,400 per tola, marking an increase of Rs 1,000 per tola.


Meanwhile the price of silver has increased by Rs 65 per tola. According to FENEGOSIDA, silver is being traded at Rs 1,860 per tola.
