Gold price drops for third consecutive day

Gold prices in the Nepali market have fallen for the third straight day. On Wednesday, gold was traded at Rs 261,000 per tola, down Rs 1,100 from the previous day, according to the FENEGOSIDA.

KATHMANDU, Dec 31: Gold prices in the Nepali market have fallen for the third straight day. On Wednesday, gold was traded at Rs 261,000 per tola, down Rs 1,100 from the previous day, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA).



On Tuesday, gold had been priced at Rs 262,100 per tola, marking a Rs 7,900 drop from Monday’s rate.

Silver prices also declined on Wednesday. Silver, which was traded at Rs 4,590 per tola on Tuesday, slipped to Rs 4,470 per tola, a decrease of Rs 120 per tola.


In the international market, gold was trading at USD 4,334 per ounce today.
