JAJARKOT, May 5: A 12-year-old girl was killed and one other injured seriously when a tree fell on them during a storm at Kuse rural municipality-4 in the district on Thursday evening.

Ramita Shahi, seventh grader at local school, was returning home with her 15-year-old sister Pashupati, who was also injured in the incident, after purchasing textbooks from nearby market when the incident took place, police said.

Pashupati, who is 10 grader at the same school, was undergoing treatment at local health post, local people said. RSS
