Girl dies after being hit by tractor

SIMARA, Feb 7: A girl was killed after being hit by a tractor here on Wednesday afternoon.

Niwa Thakur, 13, daughter of Jeevanth Thakur of Kalaiya Sub Metropolis-25 in Bara died on the spot when a tractor hit her bicycle while she on her way back home at Sishaniya from Kalaiya. The tractor was coming from the opposite direction, according to police. 

The driver has been absconding since the accident and police are searching for him, the District Police Office, Bara said.
