Ram Hari Khadka and Rabi KC secured silver and bronze respectively in the event organized by Nepal Equestrian Association for the first time in capital. The top three finishers bagged purse of Rs 30,000, Rs 20,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively. [break]
Rudra Bahadur Karki, Sunil KC and Govinda Khadka finished in top three positions in the tent pegging. Similarly, Ram Hari Khadka, Jagdish Ghising and Samir Thapa took were top three finishers in show jump.
The gold, silver and bronze medalists of tent pegging and show jump were awarded with cash prizes of Rs 20,000, Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively.
Winners of all three categories belong to Nepal Army. Meanwhile, Horse Ball Show and other shows for women and children were also included in the event.
