MALEKHU (Dhading), Oct 29: Strains of the bacterium of the cholera were found at several sources of drinking water in the district.

The intestinal infection caused by ingestion of contaminated water or food is normally known as cholera. 

Such contamination was found at different places in Thakre and Naubise of the district, said Jeevan Malla, chief of District Health Office. 

He shared that the water samples were examined at different 25 places and the cholera germs were confirmed. 
The office carried out the test after a large number of locals were taken ill. RSS
