POKHARA, March 5: The Gandaki State Assembly at its sitting today unanimously passed a condolence motion over the death of Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Rabindra Prasad Adhikari in a helicopter crash. 

Seven people including Minister Adhikari were killed in a helicopter crash that took place at Darebhir of Taplejung on February 27. 

Adhikari was elected the member of the House of Representatives from Kaski constituency-2 on a Nepal Communist Party (NCP) ticket. The State Assembly also expressed grief over six other people killed in the helicopter crash and also over the demise of former Deputy Prime Minister Bharat Mohan Adhikari. 

The Gandaki State Assembly shall next meet at 1 pm on March 6, Wednesday, speaker Netranath Adhikari said.  RSS
