Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Thapa has won the House of Representatives election from Kathmandu Constituency No 4 by a margin of about 7,500 votes. He defeated CPN-UML's Rajan Bhattarai.

While Thapa won with 21,294 votes, Bhattarai got 13,853 votes. The Election Commission is yet to release the official results of this constituency.
