CALIFORNIA, July 3: Nepali Congress youth leader and lawmaker, Gagan Thapa, has said the Indian government's blockade and Tarai problem were two separate subjects and termed the blockade 'unjust'.
Speaking at the 33rd NNA Conference in Atlanta, Thapa stressed on a course of action with a 10-year plan to develop the country. He also underlined the need to bring on board all the Nepali migrants living in the US, Europe and Australia and 'no matter where in the world'.
On the occasion, another youth leader and lawmaker, Rabindra Adhikari, said the voters should not go silent after casting their votes and appealed to all the citizens to join the campaign to develop the country.
Nepali Ambassador to the Unites States, Dr Arjun Karki, praised the support during the time of the earthquake by migrant Nepali people and called for identifying other sectors where support is needed.
The three-day conference will conclude with various meetings and sports event. RSS
