KATHMANDU, Aug 14: The Federation of Women Entrepreneurs’ Associations of Nepal (FWEAN) organized a farewell ceremony for Felicity Jane Volk, the Australian Ambassador to Nepal, on Tuesday.
During the ceremony, FWEAN President Shobha Gyawali honored Ambassador Volk by draping her with a shawl and presenting a token of appreciation. Gyawali praised Ambassador Volk for her inspiring support of women entrepreneurs and acknowledged the impactful work Australia has done in Nepal under her leadership, particularly in youth and education.

She also commended the simplicity, happiness, and peacefulness of Nepali life, suggesting that it could serve as a model for the world. Volk expressed confidence that under the leadership of FWEAN and President Gyawali, women across Nepal would continue to achieve financial empowerment. She thanked FWEAN for the heartfelt farewell and applauded the courage of Nepali women entrepreneurs.
