MELAMCH I, July 13: The District Police Office, Sindhupalchowk has arrested a man convicted on dacoity charge and presented him before the District Court on Thursday.
The convict is Ram Shrestha, 34, of Sangachowkgadi Municipality-7. He was pronounced guilty in the case of dacoity by the court on 15th July, 2004 and was on the run since then. The court had sentenced him to five years eight months and seven days in prison along with the fine of Rs 18,172 and 50 paisa.
The Nepali Police special squad arrested him Wednesday, Sindhupalchowk DPHO's Superintendent of Police Rabindra KC said. RSS
