If pregnant women face any complication while giving birth at the local health posts or birthing centers, they are taken to the primary health center via ambulance.
The data compiled by the rural municipality shows that 51 pregnant women benefitted from the service in the current fiscal year. There are birthing centers in Makpa, Rakhabandel, and Jyamire in the rural municipality.
The rural municipality started the service from August 2017 with the objective of protecting the lives of both pregnant women and newborns.
