DODHARA, CHANDANI, June 11: Tragedy struck as four Nepali nationals lost their lives in a road accident in Chakarpur, Uttarakhand, India.


According to reports from Indian media, the fatal accident occurred on Saturday when a car collided with two scooters carrying four Nepali riders. The victims have been identified as Nem Bahadur Chand, aged 60, his wife Saraswati, aged 56, his daughter-in-law Narmada, aged 27, and his brother-in-law Kalpana, aged 42. They were residents of Bhimdatta Municipality-2 Ooltakham, Kanchanpur, and were returning from a worship ceremony.

Regrettably, the injured individuals succumbed to their injuries upon arrival at the hospital. The Kanchanpur District Police Office has not yet received any official information about the accident.


Police Inspector Harsha Bahadur Chand stated, "While we have received information about the accident through various media sources, no official report has been received."
