Four Nepali ambassadors in South East Asia and Pacific to contribute a month salary to govt's COVID-19 fund

KATHMANDU, April 12: A group of four Nepali ambassadors in South East Asia and Pacific region have decided to contribute their one month's salary to the government's fund established to prevent and contain novel coronavirus.

Issuing a press release today, Nepali Ambassadors Udaya Raj Pandey (Malaysia), Bhim Udas (Myamar), Mahesh Raj Dahal (Australia) and Ganesh Prasad Dhakal (Thailand) announced their support to the government's fund.

Earlier on Saturday, Nepali Ambassadors Krishna Prasad Dhakal (United Arab Emirates), Sharmila Dhakal Parajuli (Oman), Anjan Shakya (Israel), Jhabindra Aryal (Egypt), Narad Bhardhwaj (Qatar), Durga Bhandari (Kuwait), Sewa Lamshal (Pakistan), Padam Sundas (Bahrain) and Mahendra Prasad Singh (Saudi Arabia) announced to provide one month's salary to the COVID-19 fund established by the Nepal government.

Earlier on Friday, Nepali ambassadors Ramesh Khanal (Germany), Yuba Nath Lamsal (Denmark) Lok Bahadur Thapa (Belgium), Prakash Kumar Suvedi (Austria), Dipak Adhikari (France), Mani Prasad Bhattarai (Switzerland), Durga Bahadur Subedi (United Kingdom), Rishi Ghimire (Russia) and Dawa Phuti Sherpa (Spain) had announced to provide one month's salary to the government fund.
