Four more COVID-19 patients discharged from hospital, 16 have recovered so far

KATHMANDU, April 26: Four COVID-19 patients have been discharged from hospital after their recovery on Sunday. With this, the total number of active COVID-19 cases has come down to 35.

KATHMANDU, April 26: Four COVID-19 patients have been discharged from hospital after their recovery on Sunday. With this, the total number of active COVID-19 cases has come down to 35.


According to spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr Bikash Devkota, all four COVID-19 patients were undergoing treatment at the Birgunj-based Narayani Hospital.

Three of them were discharged after 15 days, while a 19-year-old man from Rautahat was discharged on the 12th day of his admission to the hospital. 


Now, one COVID-19 patient each in Dhangadhi and Bharatpur, three in Birgunj and 30 others in Biratnagar are undergoing treatment.  No death has been reported so far.


Earlier today, the ministry confirmed two new COVID-19 cases. Nepal has seen a total of 51 cases of COVID-19 so far.
