Four missing, one injured due to landslide in Rasuwa

RASUWA, August 19: Four people have gone missing while one has sustained severe injuries due to a landslide that occurred at Naukunda Rural Municipality-5 of Rasuwa district on Thursday morning.

The landslide triggered by the incessant rainfall buried a house of Shyam Bahadur Ghalan, according to DSP Devendra Pandey. “Ghalan is currently undergoing treatment at a local hospital.”

Ghalan’s wife, two daughters and son have gone missing after the landslide, according to the District Police Office, Rasuwa.
