DHANGADHI, Nov 11: Four people were injured in a jeep accident in Kailali.


According to the police, five people were injured when the jeep (Ve 1 Jha 6163), which was on its way from Dokebazar to Khimdi, met with an accident on Friday evening in Bajedi of Mohanyal Rural Municipality-4 of the district.

According to Sudurpaschim Province Traffic Police Office Attariya, 39-year-old Sarita Budha, 33-year-old Manish Rokka, 50-year-old Dhansara Maskey and 39-year-old Kamala Pun Magar of Mohanyal Rural Municipality-4 are among the injured. They are being treated at Ghodaghodi Hospital. The condition of all five people is moderate.


Police said that the accident occured due to the failure of the brake in the jeep. The driver, 25-year-old Ram Bahadur BK, resident of Mohanyal Rural Municipality-4, has been arrested by the police.
