Four crypto traders arrested from Kalopul

According to the Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Range, the suspects were involved in cryptocurrency transactions worth more than Rs 60 million.

KATHMANDU, Aug 15: Police have arrested four individuals on charges of trading in cryptocurrency.



According to the Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Range, the suspects were involved in cryptocurrency transactions worth more than Rs 60 million. Those arrested are Omprakash Jaiswal, 27, of Mahagadhimai Municipality–3 in Bara; Manmohan Kumar Singh, 25, of Mahagadhimai–5; and Bikram Jaiswal, 33, and Munna Jaiswal, 33, both from Bihar, India.

They were apprehended from Kalopul in Kathmandu, and police seized Rs 1.533 million in cash from them
