Four arrested with 120 kgs of Marijuana

KATHMANDU, July 18: Police have arrested four people with 120 kilograms marijuana from Sarlahi.

KATHMANDU, July 18: Police have arrested four people with 120 kilograms marijuana from Sarlahi.


Acting on a tip-off, a team of police led by SP Somendra Singh Rathore seized 120 kilograms of marijuana from a car (BR01DB 0003) and a motorbike (Na 24 Pa 8764), according to a press release issued by District Police Office.

The arrested are Ramesh Lamichhane (car driver), 21, and Madi Ghimire, 20, of Lalbandhi municipality, Prem Das, 42, of Paterwa Sugauli rural municipality and Rajesh Khawas, 35, of Sakhuwaprasauni rural municipality.


An investigation into the case is underway, according to a press release issued by  District Police Office, Parsa.
