Four arrested for running an unauthorized clinic in Dhangadhi

DHANGADI, July 28: The Ministry of Social Development, in collaboration with the District Police Office, conducted a joint investigation leading to the arrest of four people engaged in illegal medical operations within Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city-2 and 3 on Thursday.

DHANGADI, July 28:  The Ministry of Social Development, in collaboration with the District Police Office, conducted a joint investigation leading to the arrest of four people engaged in illegal medical operations within Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city-2 and 3 on Thursday.

Among those detained were 30-year-old Amar Chaudhary, the proprietor of Everest Medical, and 25-year-old Nabin Dhami, who operated Manvi Hamro Medical Pharmacy, both residing in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-3. Additionally, 33-year-old Deepak Mahara of Farwest Pathology, operating in Ward No. 3, and 73-year-old Gorakh Bahadur Shrestha, owner of Resmi Clinic Pharmacy in Ward No. 2, were also arrested.


According to Kailali Spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Kuldeep Chand, the suspects were detained and investigated due to their failure to obtain the necessary operating permits, as required by the prevailing law.
