KATHMANDU, Nov 24: Eknath Dhakal, president of Nepal Family Party and former minister of Nepal government as well as a member of the House of Representatives, met with Cambodia's newly elected Prime Minister Hun Manet and extended congratulations.
Dhakal, who is in the friendly country of Cambodia as part of a 3-day friendly visit, met Prime Minister Manet at the latter’s office on Tuesday and wished the 46-year-old young Prime Minister Manet a successful tenure and engaged in discussions on regional peace and development.

Prime Minister Manet, holding a degree in economics, graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Following the Cambodian People's Party's landslide victory in the recent election, and after the resignation of former Prime Minister Hun Sen, Hun Manet assumed the position of Prime Minister. Notably, his cabinet includes many young leaders. Dhakal serves as a member of the International Relations and Tourism Committee of the House of Representatives.
