LONDON, May 28: Foreign Minister Dr Narayan Khadka is scheduled to pay a four-day official visit to Sweden.
Foreign Minister Khadka is coming to Sweden to attend the International Conference on 'Stockholm Plus 50' to be jointly organized by the United Nations General Assembly, Sweden and the Kenyan government in Stockholm from June 2 to 3.
According to Raj Kumar Pathak, President of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Sweden, a five-member delegation led by Minister Khadka will be visiting Sweden on an official visit.
Minister Khadka would hold meetings with high level delegations from different countries of the world participating in the international conference to be organized under the slogan 'Our responsibility, our opportunity' for a prosperous planet for all.
Minister Khadka is also scheduled to hold talks with António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations at the conference. According to NRNA Sweden, Minister Khadka will also participate in an interaction program with the Nepali community in Sweden on Tuesday evening.
