Issuing a statement on Tuesday, the association said that the expo will feature 125 stalls where leather footwear manufacturers will showcase their products like sport shoes, casual shoes, school shoes and sandals for both men and women.
The expo targets to increase the sale of leather footwear that has slowed down after the 2015 earthquakes and last year's Indian blockade, according to the statement. The organizers also said that 65 stalls have already been booked. The expo is expected to attract around 200,000 visitors.
