Footballer Chand appointed brand ambassador

SURKHET: Sani Village Resort of Surkhet has appointed footballer Rohit Chand as its brand ambassador. The central defender-cum-midfielder of Nepali national team and Bikash Silwal, general manager of the resort, signed an agreement to this effect on Tuesday.



According to Silwal, Chand was appointed brand ambassador for the development of football and the Far-western Region. Chand, who played professional football from PSPS Pekanbaru and Persija Jakarta of Indonesia, has signed a short-term contract with Nepal´s top-flight team NMB Bank Machhindra Club.[break]



 "We hope Chand´s appointment as our brand ambassador will help in the development of sports and tourism in this region," said Silwal. Chand hails from Itra, Surkhet in the same region.
