KATHMANDU, March 22: Department of Food Technology And Quality Control (DFTQC) along with Nepal Food Scientists and Technicians Association is organizing a three-day food festival in Kathmandu between March 23 and 25. The festival is being organized from the past two years. The theme of this year's festival is: “Promote Traditional Nutritious and Local Food Products: Improve Eating Habit for Good Nutrition”. Speaking at a press meet on Wednesday, Purna Chandra Wasti, the spokesperson for the department, said that the festival will have 14 stalls for ethnic food, 24 informative stalls on machinery and food technology, and 40 more for industrial food products.
