FNJ urges media houses to allow reporters work from their homes owing to possible outbreak of COVID-19

KATHMANDU, March 21: Federation of Nepalese Journalists (FNJ) today urged the media houses to allow media persons work from their homes.

KATHMANDU, March 21: Federation of Nepalese Journalists (FNJ) today urged the media houses to allow media persons work from their homes.


In a press statement, the umbrella organization of the Nepali journalists urged all the media houses to allow media persons work from their homes and arrange transport facilities to the journalists if they should go to work from their offices owing to possible outbreak of COVID-19.

The FNJ also asked the media houses to provide salaries to journalists on time.


Similarly, it has also asked the journalists across the nation to adopt preventive measures against COVID-19 and not to disseminate false news on the coronavirus.


Likewise, FNJ said that it will work to minimize the spread of fake news about the COVID-19 pandemic.
