KAWASOTI, Dec 2: Journalists associated with various media organizations and journalist associations in Nawalparasi district have padlocked the office of Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Nawalparasi Chapter's office today.

Furthermore, they said that although there are 13 members in the FNJ's executive committee, only six of them made decisions towards this end without properly verifying the applications submitted by the aspirants to the membership selection committee.
According to FNJ, Nawalparasi Chapter Treasurer Raj Kumar Regmi, the FNJ Nawalparasi office was padlocked in protest of the unilateral actions taken on the distribution of membership by the FNJ Nawalparasi Chapter Acting President and Membership Selection Committee Coordinator Birendra Parajuli.
