KATHMANDU, August 4: Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) has shown concerns over Managing Director of Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) Gopal Khadka's intimidation against Nagarik Daily journalist Dilip Paudel.

Issuing a press release, FNJ Chairman Prabhat Chalaune has condemned the inappropriate behavior and urged the managing director of NOC to respect the freedom of the press. They insisted Director Khadka to take legal remedy to the published news materials if he found it misleading.

NOC's Khadka has been accused of misappropriating millions of rupees bleeding state coffer. He threatened Journalist Paudel saying that he damaged his career after Public Account Committee of the Parliament decided to recommend the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) to take action against him.
