FNJ appeals for financial help for ailing journo Subedi

KATHMANDU, Jan 20: Corporate Province Committee of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) has appealed to one and all to extend financial assistance for journalist Arjun Subedi, who has been undergoing treatment for a liver-related ailment.

KATHMANDU, Jan 20: Corporate Province Committee of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) has appealed to one and all to extend financial assistance for journalist Arjun Subedi, who has been undergoing treatment for a liver-related ailment.


Journalist Subedi has been undergoing treatment at Rela Institute and Medical Center, Chennai in India for the last few weeks upon the recommendation of doctors in  hospitals in Nepal.

Over Rs 4 million is immediately required for the treatment that he has been recently undergoing, according to family sources. Earlier, he was receiving treatment at various hospitals in Kathmandu.


Those willing to extend financial assistance for the ailing Subedi can deposit it at A/C No 00100101069271000001of Prabhu Bank.


Subedi, who originally hails from Myagdi, has been working at Nagarik daily, a sister publication of Republica, for the last 10 years.
